Reports about Ms Padukone and Salman teaming for Sooraj Barjatya’s next have been doing the rounds for a while. But the bhai of Bollywood may have to wait a little longer to share screen space with Deepika thanks to his Andaz Apna Apna co-star
Sooraj Barjatya’s next film with Salman Khan has been in the news ever since the project was announced. The buzz around the film went up a notch when rumours about Deepika Padukone playing the lead alongside Sallu miyaan started floating. Since the leggy lass was keen on working the Dabangg Khan, everybody including us hoped that DP would accept the offer. But sadly it may not happen coz the Cocktail babe is running on a tight schedule and apparently has been approached for an Aamir Khan film as well. Reportedly, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have already had a word with Dippy for their film which will star the Dhoom:3 baddie in the lead. Though neither Aamir nor Deepika have signed on the dotted line, as per media reports, both the actors will soon give their nod. Looks like Ranveer Singh’s alleged ladylove is flooded with too many tempting offers, no?
Also, the Chennai Express starlet has Imtiaz Ali’s next with Ranbir Kapoor which will go on floors soon. While talking to a tabloid, a source said, “Sooraj is very keen to have Deepika on board and so is Salman, but the former wants Deepika to assign 120 days for the film’s shoot from June onwards and it doesn’t look like she will be able to pull it off as she will be shooting for Imtiaz’s film from July to December.”
After having a successful 2013, we aren’t surpised that Ms Padukone is the flavour of the season. While the Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela actor hasn’t made an official announcement about any of the projects, we are sure it’s not going be easy for her to choose between Aamir and Salman. But we are indeed eager to know which Khan will romance the gorgeous Deepika next!
